Pinches & Handfuls Greenhouse
Growing beauty, wisdom, and nourishment — one season at a time.
Pinches & Handfuls Greenhouse
Once upon a time, there was a woman who found her joy in soil and sunlight.
Her husband noticed… so he built her a greenhouse.
Then watched her fill it, leaf by leaf, until he built another.
Here, among the seedlings and the steam on the glass, plants teach us everything:
how to root deeply,
reach for the light,
heal, rest, regenerate—
and how to thrive together in the most unexpected seasons.
The Little Yellow Door
One of the greenhouse doors is painted bright yellow — my favourite colour.
It isn’t just a door.
It’s an invitation.
To step into warmth, curiosity, and the simple joy of growing something with your own hands.
The Yellow Door marks the heart of the Pinches & Handfuls Greenhouse:
a space rooted in love, learning, and everyday magic.
What Grows
Each spring I grow more seedlings than my own garden needs.
The extras — sturdy and lovingly grown — are available for others who want to grow food, herbs, and flowers at home.
Season 2026 Update
The Pinches & Handfuls Greenhouse
Pinches & Handfuls is currently preparing for a move to a new farm.
Because of this transition, the greenhouse will not be open to customers for bedding plants during the 2026 season.
The greenhouse will reopen at the new farm in 2027, with plans for expanded gardens, herbs, and seasonal offerings.
Bedding Plants (When the Earth is Ready) Mother’s Day Weekend Usually
Each spring I grow far more seedlings than my own gardens need.
The extras — sturdy, acclimated, and lovingly grown — are available for purchase when the season turns warm.

I am constantly testing, observing, and adding new varieties —
learning what flourishes in our region and sharing those successes with you.
These plants aren’t mass-produced.
They’re grown slowly, by hand, from a garden built on heart, curiosity, and decades of lived experience.
Pick-up days and availability are always announced first on
Facebook & Instagram.
Looking Ahead
The new farm will allow Pinches & Handfuls to grow into something larger — with more space for gardens, herbs, and seasonal learning.
The greenhouse will reopen in 2027.
Gardens, like people, sometimes need to move in order to grow.
